Umpiring 101 Workshops

Perfect for all our school, club umpires, player-umpires, coaches, managers and parents!

Aims to help build confidence, refresh your umpire knowledge prior to the start of the season and gain answers to any fiddly questions or scenarios you may have experienced in the past.  Also discusses interpretation of recently updated rules.

Workshops open for all to attend.  Focuses on the 7-a-side game.

* Learn rules of the game

* Gain handy tips on how to handle over-zealous spectators

* Come to grips with how to become more confident on the side line

* Talk through situations or scenarios

* Pick up some of the hand signals, learn where best to position yourself and how to blow your whistle correctly

* Talk about your umpiring hesitations/fears

* Ask questions in a safe environment - there are likely to be others in the room wanting to ask the same questions so no question is considered a silly one!
